Founding Partner & President

Mike Wilson is a founding partner and President of StarPlex Real Estate Solutions, where he leads the firm’s capital markets, investor relations, investment strategy, and strategic growth initiatives. Since co-founding StarPlex, Mr. Wilson has been instrumental in developing the firm’s residential real estate finance platform, specializing in finished-lot banking, secured lot financing, and land development capital for homebuilders and developers.

Mr. Wilson brings more than 40 years of professional experience spanning executive leadership, real estate investment management, capital formation, corporate finance, and strategic transactions. Prior to StarPlex, he held senior leadership positions in real estate investment management and capital markets, where he played a central role in structuring, marketing, and distributing public and private real estate investment offerings that raised more than $1.2 billion in investor capital.

Throughout his career, Mr. Wilson has played a leadership role in significant capital markets and corporate transactions, including public-company transactions, mergers and acquisitions, activist defense and investment vehicle structuring. His experience encompasses investor relations, corporate governance, capital formation, and the development of investment platforms serving individual and institutional investors.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Wilson held senior executive positions in operations, technology, and corporate strategy with Electronic Data Systems/OnStar, MatchLogic/Excite@Home, and Interelate, Inc.

Mr. Wilson earned a B.S. in Management Information Systems from Oakland University and an MBA from Wayne State University. He also completed the Business Executive Development Program at Thunderbird School of Global Management.
